Who we are

The software runs on your machine

The MetaPortAPI Expert Advisor runs inside your own MetaTrader 5 terminal. Prices, orders, account data and trading history that pass through it stay on your computer or server. We do not receive or store that data.

What we collect

  • Purchase and license data: your name, email address, MetaTrader account number linked to the license, and billing details handled by our payment provider.
  • Support messages: whatever you choose to send us when you ask for help.
  • Website visits: for each page view we record the page, the referring site, your IP address, the approximate location derived from it (country, region and city), your browser's user-agent string, and a random visitor ID kept in your browser's local storage. We use this only for our own visit statistics. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
  • Download records: when you accept the Terms of service before a download, we record the date and time, your IP address, approximate location, browser details and language, the product and the version of the terms you accepted. We keep this as proof of acceptance and to prevent misuse.

Locations are looked up on our own server from the IP address, using the GeoLite2 database by MaxMind. They are approximate.

How we use it

To issue and validate licenses, process payments, answer support requests, send essential product notices, and improve the website. We do not sell personal data.

Payment provider

Card payments are processed by [PAYMENT PROVIDER]. We never see or store your full card number.

Retention

License and billing records are kept for as long as required by tax law. Download acceptance records are kept for as long as you may use the software plus the period in which a claim could be made. Visit records are kept for up to 24 months. Support emails are kept while needed to help you.

Cookies

The site does not set cookies. It stores one random visitor ID in your browser's local storage so repeat visits are counted once; you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
